During the recent European Microfinance Week, Advans contributed to a high-level discussion on how <strong data-start=\"506\" data-end=\"530\">micro finance in Africa<\/strong> can strengthen climate resilience through governance, data, and responsible innovation.<\/p>\n<p>At the recent European Microfinance Week, Advans had the privilege of contributing to an insightful panel discussion on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/feed\/hashtag\/?keywords=climateresilience&amp;highlightedUpdateUrns=urn%3Ali%3Aactivity%3A7264321495437389824\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Climate Resilience<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/feed\/hashtag\/?keywords=governance&amp;highlightedUpdateUrns=urn%3Ali%3Aactivity%3A7264321495437389824\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Governance<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Represented by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/meriem-zine-51090324\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meriem Zine<\/a>, CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/advans-tunisie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Advans Tunisie<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/gr%C3%A9goire-danel-f%C3%A9dou-313b555\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gr\u00e9goire Danel-F\u00e9dou<\/a>, Deputy CEO of the Advans Group, we joined other Financial Service Providers (FSPs) and Development Financial Institutions (DFIs) to discuss:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The decision-making process: Why and how Advans and other FSPs began assessing climate risks.<br \/>\n&#8211; Strategic adaptations: Governance, staff training, client education, and product evolution as pillars of resilience.<br \/>\n&#8211; Future insights: Critical steps needed in the next 3-5 years to strengthen climate resilience across African markets.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/gr%C3%A9goire-danel-f%C3%A9dou-313b555\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gr\u00e9goire Danel-F\u00e9dou<\/a> shared the Group approach in conducting climate risk assessments.
