Accra, Ghana \u2014 26th March 2026<\/span>\u00a0\u2014\u00a0Advans\u00a0Ghana Savings & Loans<\/a> has been awarded the\u00a0Client Protection Certification\u00a0by MFR<\/a> (Microfinance Rating), with funding support from\u00a0Proparco, in formal recognition of the institution’s alignment with internationally accepted Client Protection Standards. The certification was presented at a ceremony held at\u00a0Advans\u00a0Ghana’s\u00a0Newtown Branch, Accra, on Thursday 26th March 2026, attended by the institution’s Board, Executive Management, staff, and\u00a0members of the Press.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\n\n\n

Ghana\u2019s microfinance sector plays a critical role in expanding financial access to the underserved \u2014 yet client trust\u00a0<\/span>remains<\/span>\u00a0a persistent challenge across the industry.\u00a0<\/span>Advans<\/span>\u00a0Ghana\u2019s attainment of the Client Protection Certification signals a broader commitment to raising the bar,\u00a0<\/span>demonstrating<\/span>\u00a0that institutions\u00a0<\/span>operating<\/span>\u00a0in this space can and should be held to rigorous international standards.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Laurent Clauser, Group Head of Risk and Audit,\u00a0<\/span>Advans<\/span>\u00a0Group<\/span><\/span><\/span>, spoke to the significance of this milestone from a Group perspective:<\/span><\/span> \u201cClient centricity is part of the DNA of the\u00a0Advans\u00a0Group. Ghana is one of three country subsidiaries that have now received the Client Protection Certification \u2014 Tunisia achieved\u00a0Gold\u00a0level, while Ghana and C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire have both been awarded Silver. This is a proud moment for the Group, and we are determined to ensure that all six of our\u00a0country\u00a0operations achieve certification. We will not stop until every\u00a0Advans\u00a0client, wherever they are, is served to the highest standard of client protection.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
