We spoke with Simone Adingra, Marketing Manager, and Bertrand Kenmogne, Commercial Director at Advans Côte d’Ivoire, about their recent campaign to raise awareness on transparency. In a context where microfinance in Africa plays a crucial role in supporting local entrepreneurship and economic growth, this initiative was essential to communicate both internally and externally about the institution’s policies and values, ensuring that clients trust the services provided.
It was important for us to launch this campaign in order to communicate both internally and externally about our institution’s policy of not accepting at all gifts or tips from clients in exchange for the services we provide to them. The campaign was also an opportunity for us to promote good practices within the teams and, above all, to reassure clients about the values that constitute one of our pillars.
The campaign was well received by staff, as it reflects a shared value and supports the message they already convey daily to clients in the field. It is also proof that the institution and its employees speak with one voice.
Clients appreciate our professionalism, our rigor, and our seriousness. The campaign therefore appears as a form of confirmation of our position against corruption since our creation in 2012. It is a campaign which reinforces the confidence of our customers in the institution and it also constitute one of the strong pillars of our growth and sustainability.
The campaign has been well received by both staff and clients, confirming that Advans Côte d’Ivoire operates with integrity and professionalism. By promoting transparency and ethical practices, the institution strengthens client trust and contributes to the sustainable growth of microcredit in Africa, supporting the broader development of responsible financial services on the continent.
